Looking out for Usher's Raymond vs. Raymond

Usher’s new album " Raymond vs Raymond" , which is the artist’s sixth studio album, has yet to be released and could be released on 26 February 2010, but the first single of the album titled Papers promises to enlighten us on the theme of the album. The artist recently split from his wife of 2 years Tameka Foster and has the track Papers telling us that it’s really over. The artist went through great change when he release his last album “ Here I stand ”. The Here I stand (2008) album had hit tracks like Moving Mountains and Love in this club. Usher declared his love several times though the track and even had Prayer dedicated to his first son, also named Usher. Since that album had been released the artist had another son and also got divorce from his wife. A track titled, Just like me told us the couple’s trouble with monogamy. On the track (with Jamie Foxx’s Just like me beat) Usher sings that his wife cheated on him, just like he cheated on her. Many anticipate a ...

Chris Brown Graffit review

Since the assault on Rihanna, Chris Brown has been busy working on this album which many are side looking. Many believe the assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna is a good reason not to buy Chris Brown’s third studio album. The artist was sentenced to five years probation, one year of counseling and six months of community service. Rihanna who has since some-what recovered from the attack has released her amazing album Rated R and many are going to compare it to Chris Brown’s album Graffiti. His first single and video off the album is I can transform ya, the great track features Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz. The track moves away from his clean image (that and the assault) to a much older Chris Brown who promises to change the life of a lucky lady. He also has a second video for Crawl, which stars Cassie as his leading lady. The ballad is slow passed and shows us Chris’s mature vocals. It seems that the artist wishes to gain pity from his listener and shows so in So Cold and Lucky Me. Chri...

Rihanna - Rated R (2009)

Many have anticipated the release of Rihanna's Fourth studio album. The artist was assaulted by then boyfriend Chris Brown . Since then many have hoped the artist would show her hate of the RNB artist through her music. I would describe the artist album as hard, strong and soulful. Great slow tracks like Cold case love and Te Amo caught my ear immediately. Others, such as, Hard featuring rapper Young Jeezy are showing her tough skin, but tracks like hit Russian Roulette seem to worry you with the some-what dark lyrics. The album opens up with an ominous voice daring you to enter the Mad House. But for the real fans the wait is really over as her album will interest you into her new hard and dark style that she has come back with since her last album “Good Girl Gone Bad” which was an instant hit (12 million records sold). The album includes collaborations and is produced by artists such as Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake, The Dream and Will.i.am, to name a few. The album promises to ...
