Looking out for Usher's Raymond vs. Raymond

Usher’s new album "Raymond vs Raymond", which is the artist’s sixth studio album, has yet to be released and could be released on 26 February 2010, but the first single of the album titled Papers promises to enlighten us on the theme of the album. The artist recently split from his wife of 2 years Tameka Foster and has the track Papers telling us that it’s really over. The artist went through great change when he release his last album “Here I stand”. The Here I stand (2008) album had hit tracks like Moving Mountains and Love in this club. Usher declared his love several times though the track and even had Prayer dedicated to his first son, also named Usher.

Since that album had been released the artist had another son and also got divorce from his wife. A track titled, Just like me told us the couple’s trouble with monogamy. On the track (with Jamie Foxx’s Just like me beat) Usher sings that his wife cheated on him, just like he cheated on her. Many anticipate a Confessions sound-alike but we’ll just have to see if it get the same numbers that Confession sales reflected.

The album was previously labelled “Monster” or maybe it was just a guess. The album has had many of its tracks leaked on the net, such as; More, Hey Daddy (ft. Plies), Papers, There goes my baby and Foolin Around. If they don’t release the album now there might just be a great big bust in album sales as we can find almost the entire album on the internet. It also seems that they are not trying to take down the links or even bother with the leaking of tracks.

As a person who has heard a few tracks on the album I’m liking More, the track is very energetic, and Papers, which, even though he’s giving up on his marriage, is a great track to listen to.
