Chris Brown Graffit review
Since the assault on Rihanna, Chris Brown has been busy working on this album which many are side looking. Many believe the assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna is a good reason not to buy Chris Brown’s third studio album. The artist was sentenced to five years probation, one year of counseling and six months of community service. Rihanna who has since some-what recovered from the attack has released her amazing album Rated R and many are going to compare it to Chris Brown’s album Graffiti.
His first single and video off the album is I can transform ya, the great track features Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz. The track moves away from his clean image (that and the assault) to a much older Chris Brown who promises to change the life of a lucky lady.
He also has a second video for Crawl, which stars Cassie as his leading lady. The ballad is slow passed and shows us Chris’s mature vocals. It seems that the artist wishes to gain pity from his listener and shows so in So Cold and Lucky Me. Chris Brown should be lucky to have and album out and fans that stick by him as his public image has been tarnished. Only time will tell if the artist has a chance to ever claim back many of his fans that deserted him when he assaulted Rihanna.
Chris Brown had his hand in writing the lyrics for 12 of his 13 tracks on the album. He says that his inspirations are Michael Jackson and Prince but the sound on the album is not yet in the leagues of the legends. Even though, Brown embraces his adulthood and despite his short comings Brown show us that he is destined for great one day and shows us his growth through all of his albums.
Look forward to I Can Transform Ya, Lucky Me, So Cold, Froze and Crawl.
